Cities Draft -- Results

1:55 PM
Homer: Well, kids, there it is! Capital City!
Marge: Look, the Cross-Town Bridge!
(begin vamp)
Tony Bennett:(singing) There's a swingin' town I know called... Capital City. People stop and scream hello in... Capital City.
Homer: Kids, look! Street crime!
Tony Bennett:(singing) It's the kind of place that makes a bum feel like a king.
And it makes a king feel like some nutty, cuckoo, super-king.
Marge: Look, it's Tony Bennett!
Tony Bennett: Hey, good to see you.
(singing) It's against the law to frown in... Capital City.
You'll caper like a stupid clown when you chance to see...
Marge: Fourth Street and 'D'!
Tony Bennett:(singing) Fourth Street and 'D'! Yeah!
Once you get a whiff of it, you'll never want to roam.
Homer: The Duff brewery!
Tony Bennett:(singing) Capital City, my home sweet, yeah!
Capital City, that happy-tal city,
It's Capital City, my home sweet swingin' home!
All: Capital City! Yeah!

I can't believe it. Nobody picked my beloved Munich. You guys did a beer draft and now no one picked Munich in the cities draft. The mind boggles. Granted, the Hofbrauhaus can be a bit touristy for some tastes. But, there is so much more there. I mean, if you have ever had a beer at the Chinese Tower beirgarten in the Englischer Garten, you would just have to put Munich on the list. And there's Schloss Nymphenberg, the Bavarian National Museum, the Bavarian National Theater, the German Museum of Hunting and Fishing. Anyway, I'm signing Munich as a free agent.

You're right, Old Timer, Munich is a fantastic city. Here's a book to help you cope with the fact that we didn't draft it

What about Singapore? Or Chicago? People would rather go to Bagdhad first?
