Maybe it was those hot mutton chops he sported circa 1883.

I actually think it was the fact that he went from ostracized New York Customs House crony to President of the United States in 3 years. Gotta respect that.

Has Sarah spent her entire academic life studying poetry or something? Lincoln is obvious, but then she went for 5 straight losers. (Monroe without SecState Adams leaves you with, oh, Jimmy Carter comes to mind.) Chris clearly had a theme, but needs to explain Hayes. Albert seems to have had a theme as well, but I'm not sure he knows what it was. Adam was doing what, picking golfing buddies?

Oh, just as sure as the Glib and Supreficial is a phenomenal blog, I know exactly what theme I was securing with my draft.

Yeah, I have to say, after the powerhouse pick of Lincoln, I kind of fizzled out there...and ended up choosing presidents that I felt sorry for. I mean, Carter, he really, really tried, you know?
